Regional Embassies Act
BE IT ENACTED by the Senate of Right to Life, in accordance with the Constitution of Right to Life and with the assent of the Founder of Right to Life, as follows:
SECTION 1. The regional government shall accept every in-game embassy request from a foreign region that meets at least two of the following requirements:
- Being exclusively or predominantly pro-life, or having a majority of pro-life members;
- Having a population of at least five nations and a World Assembly delegate;
- Having a citizen or resident who is also a citizen of Right to Life;
- Holding status as a colony, protectorate, or dominion of Right to Life;
- Unless the requesting region is in violation of Section 4 of this Act.
SECTION 2. At his discretion, the President or the Minister of Foreign Affairs may accept an in-game embassy request from a foreign region if that region does not meet at least two of the requirements of Section 1 of this Act and if that region is not in violation of Section 4 of this Act.
SECTION 3. The President and the Minister of Foreign Affairs shall each have the power to make in-game embassy requests, provided there is not a violation of Section 4 of this Act.
SECTION 4. The regional government shall never maintain an in-game embassy with a foreign region that is based on or officially promotes communism, fascism, or national socialism, unless the Senate grants its special approval for the in-game embassy to be built or maintained.
SECTION 5. After having an in-game embassy with Right to Life for more than three months, a foreign representative can request an embassy on the Right to Life forums. Preference will be given to regions who:
- Have an ambassador assigned to Right to Life
- Actively engage in conversation with Right to Life
- Are a member of Pro-Life International
- Have a signed treaty with Right to Life
- Regularly have a regional newsletter
SECTION 6. Right to Life holds the right to withdraw an embassy for any reason seen fit at any time. This can happen due to any of the following:
Actively support actions that threaten the security of Right to Life, through legislation in the Security Council, support military actions against the interests of Right to Life, or actively supports an ideology contradictory to the values of the Right to Life Democracy.
Section 7. The President and Minister of Foreign Affairs shall have the authority at any time to examine existing embassies for compliance with this Act, and at their discretion direct the closures of embassies that are in violation of this policy.
Section 8. Embassies predating the enactment of this legislation shall be exempt from any qualifications required in Section 1. In addition, all embassies on the Right to Life forums shall be exempt from any qualifications listed in Section 5 unless the forum embassy is deemed inactive, then the President or Foreign Minister reserves the right to close the embassy.
