Revising/Redrafting the Recruitment and Welcome Telegram

With the new forums, drafting a new recruitment telegram and a new welcome telegram is in order, as the current telegrams have ZetaBoards links, besides which it might be best just to completely revise it.

Greetings!

I am sending you this message to encourage you to join RIGHT TO LIFE, a region dedicated to the protection of unborn children. We are the premier region representing the pro-life movement on NationStates; and, if you support the rights of all human beings, you'll fit right in.

Founded in June 2011, our close-knit community has an active offsite board, a well-known army, a competitive but friendly system of political parties, a growing economy, an experienced news division, and an amazing map. Elections are held every two months; and our players come from a wide spectrum of national, political, and religious (and nonreligious) backgrounds.

In the world, there are more than 40 million abortions each year. About 90 percent of them are performed for social or economic reasons. These procedures are completely unjustified. No social or economic factor warrants the destruction of an innocent life. In the more difficult cases, such as rape, region members are free to form and adhere to their own opinions.

The only changes I think it needs outside of links are the omission of "a growing economy, an experienced news division," because we have yet to reestablish the News Committee and we abolished the regional economy iirc (as a side note, I am curious as to why did that happen? I was personally a fan of the economy we had going.)

The lifemark fell into disuse, and the government felt that continuing to maintain it created more work than (fun) activity. There was (some) demand for economic services, but nobody was supplying them. Besides the flag shop, the Lifemarket had become almost totally inactive.

I still remain a minister of our region, never officially being taken down off my role, or anyone taking my place. I would be very glad if I was allowed to recreate a world map for our region, even if taken down from the position of the Minister of Culture.

I'd send a telegram to United Massachusetts given that he's currently acting as president.
